Gleipnir is the creation of Steve Dick, a visionary entrepreneur and executive with 25 years experience in banking and finance. He has worked as a bank officer, a brokerage employee, and owns a retail registered investment advisor.

Steve is also a 3rd generation veteran, having proudly served with the U.S. Army’s 9th Infantry Regiment. After receiving an Honorable Discharge, Steve enrolled at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, while simultaneously working in construction and as an auto mechanic to help fund his education. After graduating with a B.A. Economics in 1999, he began his career in financial services as a Management Trainee at First National Bank Alaska. After only three years on the job, he was promoted to Assistant Vice-President of Commercial Lending at the bank’s corporate headquarters.

As a banker, Steve worked on some of the largest commercial transactions across the state. He was frequently called upon to consult federal, state, and municipal agencies, tribal governments, and even a U.S. Senator, all before the age of 30.

In 2003, Steve was recruited by Edward Jones to manage and serve as Lead Financial Advisor of a small branch in his home state of Tennessee. While there, he worked with numerous families, small-business owners, and entrepreneurs to build a multimillion-dollar business. In 2010, he co-founded Strong Heritage Financial Group and in 2015, Strong Heritage became Sapiat Financial Group. Sapiat Financial Group is 100% owner of Sapiat Asset Management. Since 2003, he has worked exclusively with Individuals and Families, their Businesses, and the Trusts that benefit them.

In addition to his college degree, Steve has studied on scholarship at two world-renown economic think-tanks; the Ludwig von Mises Institute at Auburn University and the Property and Environment Research Center at Montana State University.

Steve has dedicated a considerable amount of resources to formal blockchain and crypto education. He estimates that since 2020 he has devoted 300 – 400 hours of time to formal blockchain and crypto training through numerous classes and conferences. In doing so he has earned:

Steve has personally invested a substantial portion of his net worth in crypto. He’s invested onchain, through centralized exchanges, through qualified custodians, and through advisory firms. As an Accredited Investor, he has private Pre-Seed investments in promising blockchain projects. He also invests heavily in blockchain support industries and companies; miners, exchanges, hardware manufacturers, software developers, banks, and gaming companies.

His passion for retail advisory, blockchain, and crypto led his investment advisory firm to become one of the first, maybe even the first, retail registered investment advisor in the United States to offer customers direct investment in crypto. He is battle tested when it comes to business formation, regulatory registration, vendor organization, and implementation of professional crypto management.

Steve has the education, knowledge, skills, experience, and network necessary for Gleipnir to achieve its goals and quickly become a success. He has devoted thousands of hours and a substantial amount of money to developing Gleipnir and launching Gleipnir’s first of its kind initial coin offering.
